This is the place where I tell you what I believe.
I believe in a triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

I believe that he is a loving God, but he is also righteous and holy.

John 3:16-17
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

I believe that God either laughs or weeps over our sectarian differences. The one most important question is the one Jesus asked his disciples: “who do you say that I am?”  If we can answer “you are the Messiah and the lord of my life”, we are on firm ground.  Our traditions and practices are merely details. But we’ve all heard it said that the devil is in the details.

I believe that spiritual warfare is real, but most of us know too little about it and how to prevail when we are engaged in it.

Our enemy loves to make the details of our faith a dividing point between believers. When we argue and get our noses out of joint, he succeeds in making us less effective for the Lord. It is my hope to help us see beyond the details to the universal love of God
