Brought up in an ordinary small town in rural Kansas, where nothing out of the ordinary happens Judith Robl led an ordinary life. She went to college locally, married a teacher/farmer, reared a family. Life was good, but it was nothing out of the ordinary.
Then the world intruded. Violence in the form of murder of family members invaded her life and the lives of those around her. Not once, but twice. Murder at the hands of strangers is one thing. Murder of family by family is something else again.
Coping with the aftermath of that violence taught her much about patience and perseverance, forgiveness and faith. Without faith, life can be impossible. With faith, nothing can overcome the believer. Forging a deep root of faith is the basis for all her writing and speaking.
